5 Things - Donna of Soul Pretty

I used to read Donna's blog, Soul Pretty, years ago. Literally...maybe like 4-5 year ago. Then when I moved to India I lost track of several blogs - hers being one of them. It wasn't until a few months ago when a reader asked on one of my posts, this post specifically, if I follow the blog Soul Pretty that I rediscovered Donna's blog. Donna is a fellow thrifter with a knack for finding amazing clothes and a lover of ethnic textiles - a woman of my own heart. Here are her 5 Things.

Want // A Range Rover. I'm a native New Yorker, so a car was never a priority until my daughter was born with a chronic illness that made getting to the hospital quickly a priority. So many, many years ago I purchased my first car for utility reasons...and it's still on the road... We have weathered so many storms, I feel like I deserve a car that speaks to the person I am now, resilient, yet stylish...and out of reach of the average buyer...lol.

Need // A vacation on Martha's Vineyard. I so need a vacation...not just any vacation...no. I need about 7 days alone with the one I love on an island close to home...No Airports...Martha's Vineyard would be perfect.

Visit // A hookah bar. It just looks sexy...and fun...I could wear my best bohemian outfit, listen to cool music and eat great food...

Learn // To decorate cakes like a pro. I mean like Sylvia Weinstock...I'm an artist, a designer and I love to bake...so it's only natural that I would love to design and bake like the best...sigh.  Just not sure what I should learn first, how to decorate or how to bake the best cake...

Eat // I'm obsessed with cupcakes...luckily for me this bakery, Little Sugar Shop, is in my neighborhood and they make the best cupcakes EVER!
