Setting the foundation at my little apartment.

You see what's going on in these photos?

White walls paired with black doors. Loves it. LOVES it. Love it so much that it's what's happening at my little apartment. With my storage unit finally empty and everything now sitting in my guest bedroom (I have a guest bedroom!), I'm starting my decorating by setting the foundation. That foundation? White walls. Black doors. Throughout the entire apartment. Two things: (1) Who woulda guessed picking white paint would be so hard? I've got a whole post coming up about that but seriously, it's tough! and (2) My doors are, for the most part, cheap-y hollow doors - not quite like the interesting panelled doors in the photos above - so I'm hoping it turns out well. Paint is one of the easiest and relatively most cost-efficient ways to totally transform a space - so I'm really excited to share the before and afters. Stay tuned!
