MANDATORY: THE FACE SHOP NOSE STRIPS

Over the past year I've read a lot about Korean beauty routines and supplies, so when Korean beauty store The Face Shop opened up in a mall near me I stopped in to take a look. One thing I left with was the Blackhead Out Aloe Nose Strips. Many, many, years ago I tried one of those Biore strips and I don't remember being blown away so I've never given nose strips a second thought. But hearing all about how good Korean beauty supplies were and the fact that I could buy individual strips for only $2 before buying an entire box I thought, "why not?"

You apply it just like any other nose strip by wetting your nose first and then applying the strip. You leave it on to harden for about 10-15 minutes and then you peel it off. This is probably going to sound disgusting but I was fascinated with the gunk that was on the strip when I peeled it off. Seriously. I must have stared at the strip, examining it at different angles, for a solid three minutes. And my nose felt so smooth. Amazing. I gave one to a friend at work and the next day she too said she was amazed at what was on the strip and also stared at it, at different angles, for a few minutes. It's one of those things that is kinda gross but oh so satisfying.

I've incorporated it into my beauty "regimen" and have been using it almost weekly for the past two months. I kinda don't know how, week after week, there's still stuff to end up on the strip but I feel much better knowing they don't stick around.
