I heart bags. Seriously. A good bag is just so…well…good.
I mentioned, back here, that one of my goals is to travel more this year. I don't want to jinx it but I'm in the planning stages of a trip that'll hopefully take place this Spring and hopefully I'll be able to do another in the Summer for my birthday…and another further abroad in the Fall. That's three trips and is quite a goal since I also have a goal of getting my money right and putting quite a bit into savings - but I'm determined and focused and remaining positive and optimistic.
Anyways. Bags.
With travel on my mind I've been keeping my eyes open for bags that'll travel well and these four have grabbed my attention.
02. Totepack No.1 / This bag is so good and would be perfect for travel and everyday use alike. It's just the right size for carrying around a little more than the essentials and has a zipper top closure which gives me piece of mind when traveling. There's a small pocket inside to keep things like your keys, phone, wallet separated and not only are there short leather handles there's also the long shoulder strap - and the shoulder straps convert so it can be worn as a backpack! I love stylish backpacks when I'm traveling. Fjällräven makes some pretty sweet travel and outdoorsy gear and this is one of my faves.
03. Weekender Bag / I am always on the look out for a great duffle bag and I really like this one - it looks to be the perfect size for a weekend away. Cuyana's slogan is fewer better things and this duffle seems to be quality. It's reinforced throughout, the handles are leather, and the hardware is gold…and you all know how I feel about that. Black is a nice safe colour but when you open it up the interior is a fabulous punchy orange lining. Really good.
04. Village Pack Prince / I know, a fanny pack. Are they back in style yet? I dunno. What I do know is that this one is really good looking and leather items from Roots are amazing quality. I mean really? Would you expect anything less from a Canadian brand ;-) Plus, I feel like you could wear it across the body instead of around the waist if you're not quite ready to step back into the early 90s. It's just the right size to carry only the essentials so that you can keep your hands free while you're out exploring…or running errands.

01. Network Pouch S / I saw this at the mall recently and was immediately drawn to it…but couldn't think what exactly to use it for so I passed. You know, trying to be good with my money and all. But now I can think of a million things to use it for - so of course I'll be going back for it. It'll be perfect to keep all the things that generally end up floating around inside your bag - lip balm, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, mints, etc. - together. Plus, I'm always a sucker for gold hardware.
